British-Ghanaian hip-hop artist Benicio ignites the music scene with his new single , Sorry For The Late Replies, This three-track release is an unfiltered glimpse into the creative mind of a hungry artiste ,offering fans a taste of what’s to come from his eagerly awaited debut mixtape, A Beautiful Day.

For The Late Replies showcases their seamless chemistry, delivering a polished yet gritty sound that’s sure to resonate with hip-hop fans worldwide.Born Benjamin Ekow Otoo on August 20th, 1998, in London, Benicio grew up in Walthamstow, surrounded by a vibrant tapestry of music—Highlife, Gospel, Reggae , R&B, Grime, and Hip-Hop, thanks to his family. At 11, he moved to Ghana, where he soaked up HipLife, Azonto, and Afrobeats, shaping the eclectic sound that defines him today. His rap journey began at 13, sparked by a friend’s performance in a school competition. By 15, while at Mfantsipim School in Ghana, he was sharpening his skills at variety shows and after-hours rap battles, performing under the name Kiddfresh.

In 2021, he returned to the UK, rebranding as Benicio, a name meaning “blessed” in Spanish, tying back to his given name, Benjamin. His 2020 single For Now, recently remastered, serves as the lead single for his forthcoming mixtape, signaling his evolution as an artist.
